Dr. David Mok is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a member and Fellow of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He feels extremely fortunate to have found his passion early in his career and has always believed that surgery is his true calling. Through extensive training and years of experience, he has developed the expertise, precision, and artistic approach that define his practice today.
Dr. Mok performs a variety of surgical treatments including his signature breast procedures, face and neck lifts, abdominoplasty, liposuction, labiaplasty and much more. Having now spent over 13 years focusing on plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery he has created custom designed results that focus on the needs of his patients.
He understands that plastic surgery is both an art and a science and is dedicated to achieving the highest standards in all aspects of his practice. With an approach that encompasses active listening and compassion, he works with his patients to define their vision and achieve their goals.
Compared to generations before, people nowadays are considerably healthier and more active than ever. With these active and social lives, Dr. Mok understands that what patients want is their physical appearance to match. The body sometimes does not reflect what we want to see when looking in the mirror, and helping patients make that change is what Dr. Mok does best. He is able to produce incredible and natural results in patients with many body types. Many of his surgeries reverse the signs of aging, childbearing and weight fluctuations and create a sleeker, fitter and beautiful appearance.

Before starting his medical Doctorate, Dr. Mok completed a bachelor’s degree in the sciences of the immune system and infectious diseases. In achieving academic excellence, he received multiple awards and scholarships throughout his degree and upon his graduation, and graduated with the top academic results of the faculty of sciences that year.
Medical Doctorate McGill University
He began his academic medical education at McGill University. During his doctorate, he carried out and completed multiple scientific research studies which were presented in international congresses and published in scientific journals. His academic results have also brought him several academic prizes and scholarships.
Surgical Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery University of Montreal
After obtaining his MD, Dr. Mok continued his education specializing in plastic surgery. During these five years of practical studies, he gained the theoretical knowledge and technical skills needed to become a well-trained surgeon. Upon completion, he successfully obtained his fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon 2009 – Today
Education does not end after graduation in a surgical career. After more than 10 years of work in the speciality, and after having performed well over 10,000 plastic surgery procedures, Dr. Mok has continued to develop and refine his technical capabilities and medical skills. Dr. Mok’s communication skills along with his honest, simple approach to complex problems, ensure that a patient’s goals and desires are the same as the surgical objectives.
